Revoke or change access
Open Access, choose Details on the mandate and then Revoke access. You see what is affected, write a short reason and choose Revoke this access. Revocation takes effect immediately: running work stops and waits, and nothing is lost. If you only want to narrow the boundary, choose Change access, which creates a new version.
Open the account menu in the top right and choose Access. On a phone, Access is under More. The page is shown only to the organisation's administrators.
Revoke access
Under By project, choose Details on the mandate.
Choose Revoke access.
Read What happens. It lists the work that pauses, the deployments and external monitoring checks that stop, the connections that become unavailable and the Care coverage affected.
Write a short reason under Why (kept in the history).
Choose Revoke this access. The message Access revoked. Everything that depended on it has stopped. appears.
What happens on revocation
Revocation takes effect immediately. STRIA's authority and every temporary credential lease under the mandate end in the same step. Running work that needs the access stops and shows as paused. Nothing is lost, and the work can continue from where it stopped if you give access again. The timeline for the affected work is adjusted.
Change instead of revoke
Choose Details on the mandate and then Change access.
Choose the Mode and tick the Environments to include. Production can only be chosen in Managed Production Access.
In Restricted Access, tick what you want to Keep for yourself (STRIA asks first, each time).
Write a reason under Why (kept in the history) and choose Apply the change.
The change creates a new version. STRIA loses or gains exactly what you change, immediately. The message Access updated. appears.
When a mandate ends by itself
If the mandate has a date under Until, it ends automatically then, with the same effect as a revocation, and afterwards shows as Expired. When 14 days or fewer remain, Ends soon is shown on the mandate.
Give access again
A revoked mandate cannot be switched back on. When work needs access, STRIA proposes a new boundary, which you approve as usual.
History
Each version is kept with its date and reason under Version history on the mandate. Revoked, replaced and expired mandates are listed under Earlier access. Approved by shows whether your organisation approved it or STRIA proposed it.
