What happens after you send a request?
STRIA assesses the request and classifies what kind of work it is. If information is missing, STRIA asks a question in the workspace and the status becomes Waiting for you until you answer. When the assessment is done you receive a proposal and the status becomes Proposal ready. No chargeable work starts before you accept the proposal.
Right after you send it, the request shows the status Submitted and the text “We have your request and are preparing next steps.” You then find it under Requests.
How it works
Assessment. STRIA reads the request, classifies what kind of work it is and defines what needs to be done.
Questions. If information is missing, the question appears under STRIA needs some information. The status is Waiting for you until you answer.
Access. If STRIA needs access to one of your systems to define the assignment, STRIA asks for it under Access. No access is given until an administrator approves it.
Proposal. You receive a proposal with a fixed price or a starting price. The status becomes Proposal ready and the proposal appears under Proposals.
Decision. The work is planned once the proposal has been accepted. No chargeable work starts before that.
How you hear that something has happened
STRIA notifies you in the workspace and by email when STRIA needs information from you, when a proposal is ready to review and when work has been delivered. Anything that needs you also appears under Needs your attention on Home.
How long does it take?
It depends on what the request is about and on whether STRIA needs more information from you. The General Terms do not set a fixed time for the assessment. Answer questions as soon as you can, because the request waits for you while the status is Waiting for you.
Adding to a request
Open the request under Requests, type in Write a message under Conversation and choose Send. You can attach files the same way as when you sent the request.
If the request shows Cancelled
The status Cancelled means the request has been closed without work being carried out. If you have questions about why, write in the request's conversation.
